Jonesboro- Eileen Jeanette Hoeppner, 100, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born November 26, 1921 in Ord, Nebraska to the late Emory and Minnie Zikmund Thomsen. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her many joys were bowling (a 191 on her 91st birthday), golf, ASU basketball, St. Louis Cardinals, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bud Hoeppner; a sister, Virginia Kokes and a brother, Larry Thomsen. She is survived by (names of living survivors omitted per site guidance). A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Special thanks to the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House for the special care they gave to our Mom. Lasting memorials may be sent to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.
