Bio

son of John Franklin "John F." Turnbow and Rosalie "Rosie" Fortenberry; married first to Ollie May Weathers; second to Nancy Jane Maxwell Hollis. Buried to the right of and next to Nancy. The picture to the right is of Paul and my grandmother Nancy Paul was the only grandfather I knew growing up, he was a nice man and very funny to us kids. When I was about 10 or so, he worked as a janitor at the Post Office in Burkburnett. He was really proud of his yard, he had the first St. Augustine grass yard I ever saw. At that time, they lived in a small house in Burkburnett, with no indoor toilet, but an outhouse. my mother said that Paul and my grandmother met as a result of a newspaper "looking for love" posting, she didn't know who posted it and who answered it, smile.
