Bio
Lillian was born to Herman and Margaret (Wiese) Paasch. She grew up on the family farm near Bennington, Nebraska, attending local schools and graduating from Bennington High School in 1957. As a young girl, Lillian was involved in farm life and active as a cheerleader in school. Lillian married Larry Smith on February 14, 1958. They were blessed with two sons: Mike and Randy. Lillian and Larry have made their home in Bennington. Lillian worked at the Bank of Bennington for 46 years, holding many positions during that time. She was always a smiling, helpful face for the bank. She was a loving, caring woman with a passion for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lillian was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she loved to attend their activities.
