Bio
Annette Peters Lantzsch Mrs. Annette "Nettie" Peters Lantzsch, 97, of Taylor, Texas, passed away Monday, March 28, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born August 23, 1907, to Louis and Helena Kelldorf Peters. She was married to Edward Lantzsch on December 9, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 6, 1965; her parents; two brothers, Christian and Louis Peters; two sisters, Minnie and Mary; and two infant granddaughters. She is survived by a son, Edward Lantzsch and wife, Carol, of Taylor; a daughter, Dorothy Mogonye and husband, Johnnie, of Austin; four grandsons, Stanley, Jamie, Klint Lantzsch, and Jon Mogonye; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Hilda Hanson, Lena Lantzsch of Taylor, and Annie Peters of Georgetown; special friend, Helen Hafernick; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her steadfast faith in God sustained her as she faced many obstacles, including the consequences of polio. She was a Christ-like role model and provided strength and knowledge. She leaves a legacy of love and caring that is cherished by her family, who truly loved, respected, and admired her. Visitation will be held Thursday at Condra Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A service in celebration of herlife will be held on Friday, April 1, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Tietz and the Rev. Jennifer Fuhr officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor City Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Johns Community Hospital, or the charity of one's choice. Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, is in charge of arrangements.
