Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Chapel in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. No visitation prior to services. Joe was born October 4, 1929 in Texla, Texas. He had lived most of his life in Buna and was a retired ironworker. He was also a U.S. Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie Stanley; his parents, William and Fannie Stanley; daughters, Brenda, Bridgett, and Carrie Jo; and a great-great granddaughter, Baileigh. Survivors his children, Miranda Ratcliff & Bobby of Kirbyville, Deacon Kenneth Stanley of Cypress, TX, Venitia Chase of Kirbyville, John Stanley of Houston, and Mandi Pete of Beaumont; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchilden.
