In Memoriam MARSHALL McDONALD December 22, 1928 ~ December 23, 2019 Marshall L. McDonald, 91 of Tom, Oklahoma passed away December 23, 2019. He was born December 22, 1928 at Tom, the son of Willis and Cora McDonald. Marshall was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of the Goodwater Masonic Lodge and Tom Baptist Church. He was very active in church including serving as treasurer and assistant treasurer most recently. He loved bowling. In fact, every Monday and Thursday he traveled to Texarkana and Dequeen for games. He bowled until 2016. He also enjoyed carpentry working, watching Wheel of Fortune and he loved his dogs. Marshall is survived by his son, Rick and Teresa McDonald of Gladewater, TX; daughter, Cindy Bates and husband Nevin of Tatum, TX; Pam Moody and husband Barry of Baytown TX; Grandchildren, Phillip Bates, Jessica Moody, and Jennifer McDonald; several great-grandchildren; special friend, Judy Storey-Peters; Stepsons, Pat Lang and Don Thomason; sister, Clara Sue Miller of Las Vegas NV, along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary McDonald; daughter, Jan McDonald, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Tom Baptist Church with Bro. Miles Wesner officiating. Interment will follow in the Tom Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
