Glenda Sue Humphries age 80, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Monday, December 16, 2019 in McKinney, TX. She was born September 1, 1939 to Brodie and Dolly Hood, in Grand Saline, TX. Glenda is survived by her Sister and husband, Son and wife, Daughter and husband, Sister-in-law, 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great grandchildren and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Parents; Brodie and Dolly Hood, Husband; Riley Humphries, Son; Timmy Beaty, Brother; Brodie Keith Hood and Sister, Charlotte Hood. She and Riley Wayne Humphries, were married in January 20, 1968. They celebrated 47 years together. She had three children that she loved more than anything. She loved spending time with family and her husband after retiring from Medical Center of McKinney. She always put herself before others. She enjoyed family gatherings and cooking for everyone. One of her most memorable trips was taken to Branson, Missouri. She always talked about that trip and the memories they created. She was an absolutely amazing sister, mother, wife, aunt and nana! She will be truly missed! The family will receive friends Friday, December 20, 2019 from 10:00AM till 10:40AM at Scoggins Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held following the visitation at 11:00AM at the Blue Ridge Cemetery, in Blue Ridge, TX.
