Bud Hargrove, 80, passed away on December 9, 2019. The graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Eddy Cemetery, Eddy, Texas, with Ministers Paul Trayler and Kevin McMullen officiating. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Cole Funeral Home. Bud was born on July 20, 1939, in Eddy, Texas to Maynard Lee Hargrove and Etta M. (Kelley) Hargrove. He grew up in Eddy and graduated from Eddy High School in 1956. Bud was a lifelong member of the Lorena Church of Christ. He married Martha Joan Clements on October 6, 1961in Hallsburg, Texas. Bud was a lineman for TP&L. He was a people person and loved helping people in any way he could. Bud loved kids, the church, eating, Dr. Pepper, camping, and his family. Bud had a great sense of humor and had a saying for every occasion. One saying, his family remembers, “it’s good enough for the girls I went with!” Preceding Bud in death was daughter; Deanna Lane; parents, Maynard and Etta Hargrove; infant twin brother; sister, Evelyn Pacha. Survivors include wife, Joan Hargrove; daughters, Kelly Hargrove, Denise Trayler and husband, Paul, Sheila Dutschmann and husband, Doug, Sheryl McMullen and husband, Gayland; son-in-law, Steve Lane; sister, Lila Goodwin; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
