Services for Jacqueline "Jackie" Diane Gann, 60, of Tyler, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Perry officiating. Burial will be in Cathedral In The Pines under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Jackie passed away Sunday, April 23, 2006 in Tyler. She was born to Jack and Virginia Price Williams on Aug. 24, 1945 in Norfolk, Va. Jackie was raised in Huntsville where she graduated from high school in 1963. She graduated from Houston Baptist University with a B.S. in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude, in 1982. Jackie was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, National Honor Society of Nursing. She devoted her life to raising her two sons and treating the mental health of others during her twenty-year career. Jackie has served in a variety of behavioral health settings, both as a nurse and administrator. She joined East Texas Medical Center ? Behavioral Health Center in Tyler in November of 1995 as the Director of Nurses. She was a member of Friendly Baptist Church in Tyler, and a member of the WOW Sunday School Class. Jackie adored her three grandchildren and enjoyed her work with the Church. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Trey Gann and wife Christy of Ft. Worth, and Eric Gann and wife Jennifer of The Woodlands; sister, Kaye Richardson and husband David of Montgomery; brother, Rick Williams of Round Rock; grandchildren, Emma of Ft. Worth and Caroline and Parker of The Woodlands. Pallbearers will be Matt Williams, Brian Williams, Hollis Price Jr., Mark Price, Keith Schmidt, and Jim Whitaker. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy. South, Tyler 75703. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Friendly Baptist Church Brazil Mission Trip, 1903 E. Front St. Tyler, Texas 75702.
