Bio

Homer A. Reed, 67, of 533 California, died 11 February 1974 in General Hospital of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services were held in Memphis, Tenn. Burial follow in Oak Forest Memorial Gardens in Memphis. Memphis Funeral Home had charge. Mr. Reed was the owner of H. A. Reed Barber Shop in Greenville. He was a member of the Swiftwater Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Letha Dessie Reed of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Sprague of Lake Grove, N. Y. and Mrs. Warren S. Kvetensky of Washington, D. C.; one son, Charles Reed of Dublin, Ga.; and one brother, Howard J. Reed of Cleveland.
