Married (1) Loretta Austin on September 23, 1922 at Colorado Spring, Colo. by a Justice of the Peace. Married (2) Gladys Harris. This marriage ended in divorce. "Bill" Hanna, 88, of Fremont, died Friday at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Omaha. Mr. Hanna was born Dec. 4, 1897, in Knobnoster [sic], Mo. He lived in Denver and Sidney before coming to Fremont in 1941. He graduated from a college in Colorado. He served in the U.S. Army field artillery during World War I in France and received the purple heart for action in France. Mr. Hanna was a retired certified public accountant. He was a member of the Eagles Club, Elks Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars organization in Fremont. He married Genevieve Ohlmutz on March 17, 1942, in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Audrey Lee Hanna of Denver and Charles Hanna of Marboro, Md.; five daughters, Mrs. Gene (Kathie) Gocken and Mrs. Wayne (Vicky) Sund, both of Fremont, Mrs. Scott (Eileen) Strotz of Northridge, Calif., Emogene Rabenberg of West Richland, Wash., and Gladys Roberts of Merriam, Kan.; three stepchildren, Fred Herre and Darrell Herre, both of Omaha, and Marilyn Higgins of California; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Chapel. The Rev. Leland Forman will officiate. Graveside military services will be held by the American Legion and VFW posts of Fremont. Burial will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association Fund.
