Bio

Jan. 21, 1908 -- May 12, 2002 Effie Lee Moran Adams, 94, of Tuolumne City, died of natural causes Sunday at her home. Mrs. Adams was a native of Childress, Texas. She lived in Delhi for 40 years and in Turlock for 17 years before recently moving to Tuolumne City. She was a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, Modesto, as well as Baptist churches in Delhi and Ceres. She is survived by her children, Lindell Adams of Cathlamet, Wash., Audrey Brown and Don Adams, both of Turlock, and Annie Gore of Burnt Ranch; brother, Don Moran of Oklahoma; sister, Lois Glasglow of Colorado; and 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Adams. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Allen Mortuary, Turlock. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
