Bio

Ruby Balusek Taisler, age 97, of Holland, Texas passed away Monday November 18, 2019 in Temple, TX. Ruby was a lifelong resident of Bell County. She was born to Frank and Frances Balusek on September 22, 1922. She married Alvin Taisler in 1945 and, together, they operated a family farm raising animals and crops until their retirement. Ruby had a green thumb and enjoyed spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens . Ruby's greatest joys was cooking for her family and spending time with them. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Taisler, her son, Alvin Wayne Taisler and her son-in-law Ricky Benner. She is survived by her daughter, Joyann Benner; her daughter-in-law Barbara Taisler Hill; her grandchildren, Tina Benner Entrop and husband James of Temple, Melissa Taisler Vrabel and husband Ronald of Holland, and Alan Taisler and wife Kelly of Holland; her great-grandchildren, Cory and Haley Entrop; Ronnie, Andrew and Madison Vrabel; and Clayton and Molley Taisler. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 19, 2019 from 6pm-8pm at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett, TX. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 20, 2019 at 2pm at Goodnight Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holland Cemetery.
