Funeral services for Robert "Bob" Douglas Hullett, 84, of Palestine will be at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Dixon officiating. Graveside service will be at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park Cemetery in Mesquite. He was born to Homer R. and Maedell Redden Hullett. Bob grew up in the Dallas/Mesquite area (Lawson Community). He worked as a barber, car salesman, and owned four restaurants at different times. He moved to Neches in 1990 and worked part-time as a barber and ran a dairy. After retiring from the dairy business he raised dairy cattle. Bob was a member of Neches First Baptist Church and attended Sunday school at Evangelistic Temple. He like to go to church and enjoyed visiting with friends at the Senior Center and attending the dances there. He was a Mason. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hullett; a sister, Dorothy Russom and his parents. Survivors include his son, Robert Hullett jr of Neches; daughters, Kay Huff of Mesquite and Bobbie Dale Roberts (Dale) of Gun Barrel City; grandchildren, Neelie Palmer (Todd), Jenny Garvin (Matt) and four great grandchildren, Minda, Kaya, Georgia and Alan.
