Bio

Veda Pearl Moore, 85, passed from this life to the next on Wednesday, November 12, 2019. Veda Pearl Prestridge was born on April 20, 1934 in Crews, Texas to Charles Henry and Edith Brooker Prestridge. She married Alvin C. Moore Jr. on July 25, 1952 in Safford, Arizona. She worked with him in the trucking business and also at the glove factory. Veda was a Baptist and enjoyed going to garage sales and collecting dolls. Survivors include her son Charley Moore and wife, LaRhonda of Rising Star; grandchildren, Cameron Moore and wife, Bridgett of Abilene, Alicia Spillman and husband, Dennis of Rising Star, and Carliegh Dawn Harris and husband, Cody of Rising Star; and great-grandchildren, Parker, Micah, Charles, Aaron, Knox, Kipp, and Kye. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
