Eliza Jolly was born 1878 in Milam Texas. She married Levi Charles Smith on December 13, 1896. She was 18 years old when she married. Eliza and Levi had 6 children. Carl Green Smith 1899-1899 (he lived several months); Mary Jane "Mamie" Smith born Sept 24, 1900-October 22, 1982; Claude Clarence Smith born 17 May 1902-8 Oct 1981. Violet Mae Smith born 7 Oct 1905-7 Oct 1905 (died at age 12 from a fall from a wagon) ; Alice Lenore Smith born 25 Jan 1907-18 Sept 1976. According to family Eliza contracted Tuberculosis and she died in 1908. Her husband Levi never remarried.
