Peggy Lou Long Birth Date: October 9, 1935 Death Date: December 16, 2017 Peggy Lou Long, 82, was born to parents, Hershel Compton and Elsie Maurine Compton on October 9, 1935 in Farmersville, Texas. She passed away of natural causes on December 16, 2017 in Celeste, Texas. Born in the middle of the depression on a cotton farm outside of Farmersville, she was a woman of simple means who certainly valued hard work and family. Peggy was the last living member of her family and will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Long. She is survived by three sons, one daughter, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. A graveside service for Mrs. Long will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. source: Restland obituary
