Ben Smith and Rev. George Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Park Cemetery. He died Friday at Greencrest Manor. Born in Collin County on July 20, 1909, he was the son of Adolphus and Alice Cowan Long. On July 18, 1962, he married Frances Blackwell in Greenville. He was a retired farmer and a member of North Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Frances Long of Greenville; his sister, Mozelle Green of Greenville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers include Keith Anderson, Mark Coker, Jim Finney, Gerald Ray Norris, Joey Glenn Norris and Marvin Self.
