Bio

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Leo Seiker officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. followed by a 4:00 p.m. Rosary at the church. Interment will be in the Shelby Cemetery with Military Rites by Shelby Legion Post #296. David was born January 9, 1949 to John H. and Jean H. (Mueller) Krumbach in Shelby, Nebraska. He attended Shelby Sacred Heart elementary graduating from Shelby High School in 1967. He served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1970. David was a carpenter/finisher and worked at Shelby Lumber Company, retiring in February of 2012. He was a member of Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and American Legion Post #296. He enjoyed woodworking, Husker sports, mystery books and Nebraska history. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Jean Krumbach; niece Natalie Schlegelmilch. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
