Gravesite details

Grave site is near the edge of the upper property with a beautiful territorial view. Miriam is next to him. Their daughter Mona Shannon, her husband Carroll and their son John are resting eternally over looking Spokane for cremation burials.

Bio

John Mithofer and wife Miriam lived in Springview, Nebraska. They were farmers and had one daughter, Mona Jean November 30, 1928. John was a hard working man and loved his family very much. A tornado struck their farm and blew away everything except the mailbox. They moved to Washington to be near their family. We grandchildren loved going to spend the weekend or longer in the summer and play and learn how to work on the farm. They gave us a Shetland pony named Sparky which was very fun! Grandpa was an insulin dependent diabetic and passed away when he had much life left to live. Grandma missed him very much, as did the rest of the family and friends.
