Bio
Clyde Carroll Bonner, of Pioneer, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 12, 2019 at the age of 83. At 19 years old, Clyde married the love of his life Patricia (Pat) “Tutu” Bonner. After working as an operating engineer in the Bay Area for nearly 40 years, Clyde and Pat settled into Amador County in ’98. They loved traveling abroad in their motorhome, visiting the ocean, and raising their granddaughter since she was 8. Clyde and Pat loved to gamble often at the Jackson Rancheria. Clyde enjoyed watching football, especially his favorite Bay Area teams, the 49ers and the Raiders. He will always be remembered as family oriented, fun loving, and easy going. Clyde is survived by his son, David (Jaenne) Bonner; granddaughter, Michelle (Cy Winkler) Remington; grandson, Ian (Chrissy) Alexander; brother, Delbert (Kay) Bonner; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia “Tutu” Bonner; daughter, Doreen Alexander; brother, Richard Bonner; and parents, Heard and Irene Bonner. A graveside is scheduled at Amador Memorial Cemetery in Pioneer, Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. A celebration of life will follow at 12:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12924 Ridge Rd. in Sutter Hill. Condolences may be emailed to the family via [email protected] .
