McMan, Oklahoma-no town here-usually Dundee, Oklahoma Anna Ruth Cox, 83, of Crowell, passed away Monday morning, September 30, 2019 in Quanah. A funeral service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Womack Manard Funeral Home Chapel. A nephew, Rev. Loyd Daniel, will officiate. Interment will follow at Crowell Cemetery under direction of Womack Manard Funeral Home. Anna Ruth Daniel was born December 17, 1935 in McMann, Oklahoma to Charles Clark and Laura Ona (Baylor) Daniel. She was married to Arnold L. Cox on June 28, 1952 in Crowell, Texas. She was an avid bird watcher and loved to sing for others. Anna Ruth had lived most of her adult life in Crowell, and was a member of the Abundant Life Church. Survivors include 3 daughters, Brenda Cox (Ira) Jackson of Vernon, Bonnie (Doug) Bessire of Vernon, Betty Cox of Crowell; 2 granddaughters, Courtney Rich, and Kyndal (Kade) Risinger; 3 great grandsons; 4 step grandchildren; and 6 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jaquitta Ann Cox on January 26, 1960; and her husband, Arnold L. Cox on November 12, 2014. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or Abundant Life Chapel in Crowell. Sullivan Funeral Home Vernon, Texas
