Bio
Klotz, Gottlob of 207 Hosack Street, Taylor. Age 94. Died on Wednesday, February 25, 1970, in a Taylor Nursing Home. Services were held on Friday from Condra Memorial Chapel, Taylor. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Revs. Robert Schlortt and Paul Czerkus officiated. Condra Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Grandsons were pallbearers: Marvin Moehnke, James Klotz, Glen Roy Klotz, Norman Klotz, Howard Klotz, Harvey Klotz, and Larry Klotz. He was born on January 7, 1876, in Germany and came to the United States in 1889. Lived in the Coupland and Taylor area since that time. He was a retired farmer and a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Sandoval. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Alvin Moehnke of Taylor; four sons, Walter and Alfred Klotz of Taylor, Herman Klotz of Thorndale, and Carl Klotz of Holland; sister, Mrs. Fritz Fuchs of Taylor; brother, Fred Klotz of Austin; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
