Bio

Rose Anna Kaspar Hobbs, 82, of Taylor passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, July 23, 2005 at her residence. Family visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Mass will be 10 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at St. Mary s Catholic Church with Msgr. Ben Zientek officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery. She was born June 2, 1923 to John and Frances (Pokorny) Kaspar. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Truett Hobbs; a sister; Bertha Kaspar; a brother, William Kaspar. She is survived by her son, John Hobbs and Pam Kopf of Bryan; two daughters, Mary Lou Garcia and husband, Fred of Schertz and Trisha Randig and husband, Donald of Taylor; six grandchildren, Jason Hobbs and wife, Kristi of Cedar Park, Jeff Hobbs of Bryan, Stephanie Plumley and husband, Danny of Port Neches, Kristi Avella and husband, Robert of San Antonio, Brandon Randig and Travis Randig both of Taylor; two great-granddaughters, Haley Rose and Madison Lauren Plumley of Port Neches; great-grandson; Dylan Anthony Avella of San Antonio; brother, Rudy Kaspar and wife, Lillian of Taylor; sisters-in-law, Margie Peschel of Taylor, Thelma Hobbs of Austin, Nell Wesson of Rio Rancho, NM.; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family would like to thank Scott & White Hospice of Temple, the nurses and staff of the treatment room at Scot & White Hospital, and Dr. Graham of Johns Community Hospital Clinic in Taylor for their care and compassion. Also the family would like to thank Lydia Kaspar, Rita, Bobby, Becca, and Billye Cocke her good neighbors that she had come to know and love over the past several years.
