Bio
Kenneth Ray Knebel is the son of Henry Raymond and Louise Dorothy (Swinky) Knebel. Kenneth Ray "Tudy" Knebel, 31, of Midfield died at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston Wednesday, January 21, 1981. He was a lifelong resident of Matagorda County and a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include: sisters, Shirley Woytek of Alvin, Susie Thompson of El Maton, Linda Clairidge of Safford, Arizona; brothers, Donald Knebel of Blessing, Ronnie Knebel of Bay City, Steve Bolling of Las Vegas, Nevada and Scott Bolling of El Paso. Rosary will be held Thursday night at 8 p. m. at Taylor Brothers. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church Friday, January 23, at 3 p. m. with Rev. Charles Sonnier officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers include Lawrence Hurta, Frankie Ray, Ronnie Strnadel, Frank Vaughan, Tim Vaughan and David Woodson.
