Machu, Winnie of Taylor. Age 83. Died Sunday, June 23, 1988, in Johns Community Hospital. Services held on Sunday at Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in the Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. James Hejl officiated. Family prayer service held on Saturday at Condra Funeral Home. She was born 1904 and was a resident of the Taylor area for the greater part of her life. Member of Taylor Brethren Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rudolph Machu, on August 11, 1976. Survivors include her three daughters, Melba Gene Roepke, Lorene Machu of Taylor, and Mildred O'Brien of Round Rock; three sons, Eugene E. Machu, Johnnie F. Machu, and Howard P. Machu of Taylor; six sisters, Martha Beck, Francis Tomancak, Lillie Tomancak of Taylor, Milady Cantrell of Fort Worth, Otillie Simcik of Round Rock, and Margaret Vrazel of Buckholts; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
