Bio
Patricia R. Zuerlein, age 81, of Columbus, passed away on September 17, 2019. Born March 15, 1938 in St. Bernard, Nebraska, to Nick and Nellie Schaefer. Pat was married to James “Jim” Zuerlein, July 5, 1958 for 61 years. They had five children together. Pat and Jim were founding member of St. Isidore Catholic Church where she was a member of Christian Mothers. Survived by husband James, sons; Terry (Nancy) of Little Rock, AR, Todd (Sheri) of Columbus, Nebraska, Tim (Tammy) of Zug, Switzerland, daughters; Tami (Chip) of New Ulm, Minnesota, Tara (Brad) of Omaha, Nebraska; 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held at St. Isidore Catholic Church from 3-5 p.m., Sunday September 22, 2019. There will be a 5:00 p.m. vigil service also at the church. Visitation will continue Monday morning 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2019 at St. Isidore Catholic Church with Rev. Damian Zuerlein and Rev. Joseph A. Miksch presiding. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery following mass. A luncheon in celebration of life following burial will be held at St. Isidore School Basement. Memorials can be made to St. Isidore Church
