Bio

Tony L. Sims, 61, of Cheyenne passed away Jan. 29 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born June 11, 1957, in Craig, Colo., to Richard and Delores Sims. He married Terry Taylor on Aug. 3, 2009, in Sturgis, S.D. He was a master electrician with the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker No. 415 and the Cheyenne Gun and Pistol Club. He is survived by his wife, Terry Sims of Cheyenne; sons, Joseph Sims of St. Louis, James (Garrace) Sims of Cheyenne and Evan (Nicole) Sims of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Aaron, Cameron, Reagan, Jax and Briella; mother, Delores Sims of Mesquite, Nev.; siblings, Ricky Sims of Mesquite and Linda (Bruce) Zimmerman of St. George, Utah; and several nieces and nephews.
