Hottovy); Josephine S. (1899-1993, m. Prochaska); Alois Joseph (1901-1974, m. Kantor); James L (1903-1981, m. Hein); Rudolph A (1906-1976, m. Vogeltanz); Adolph B (1908-1972, m. Codr Died Friday, May 2 Funeral services for John B. Codr, 82, were held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the Holesovsky Funeral Home in Brainard and at 9 a.m. in the Assumption Catholic church at Dwight, with the Rev. Edward Orzechowski officiating. Music was by the Assumption school choir. Pallbearers, all grandsons of the deceased were: John and Jerome Codr, Leo Coufal Jr., John and Ernest Prochaska, and Raymond Hotovy. Burial was in the Dwight Catholic cemetery. Mr. Codr was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bartholomew Codr. He was born in Moravia July 29, 1869. He died Friday, May 2, in a rest home at Crete. On Oct. 23, 1893, he was married to Miss Gabriella Racicky in Sts. Peter and Pauls church at Abie. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Prochaska, Brainard; sons, Alois, James, Adolph and Leo, all of Ulyssses, Rudolph of Seward, John of Omaha and Emanuel of Burralo, NY. A surviving sister, Mrs. Josephine Rolene, lives at Ulysses. His wife and three children preceded him in death. Mr. Codr came to this country when 4 years old and settled on a farm with his parents near Linwood. After growing to manhood, he lived on a farm 2 miles north of Dwight, later moving to a farm 4 miles east of Ulysses where he lived until retiring in 1935, and moving to the village of Dwight. He was a member of Assumption Catholic church of that town.
