Funeral services for Everett James Hess, 81, Enid resident, will be held in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Committal prayers and interment will be in the Otoe Missouria Cemetery under the guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Everett was born on December 10, 1937 in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of Doc Amos and Blanche Cerny Hess, and passed away peacefully at his residence on September 1, 2019. He grew up on the family farm with his brother, JW, all predeceased. Everett played football and attended Enid High School, Enid Business College. Everett worked as an accountant at Great Lakes Carbon. He married Loretta Moore in Enid, February 20, 1959. She preceded him in passing in 2016. Survivors include his children, Bruce and Sherri Hess.
