She was married to Herman Meyer in November of 2002 until his passing in June of 2005. No memorial has been found for Herman. Stone is listed as Erington. ################################################## Mary's family chose direct cremation, there will be no viewing. The book may be signed during regular hours at Price Funeral Home Mary Mellisa (Fowlkes) Erington/Meyer, the daughter of Monroe Gilbert Fowlkes and Willie Belle (Washburn) Fowlkes, was born on August 18, 1934 in Brownwood, Texas. She passed away on August 31, 2019 at Blue Valley Nursing Home in Hebron, Nebraska at the age of 85 years. Mary lived in Brownwood, Scottsbluff and Mitchell, Nebraska and Los Alamos, New Mexico. She was united in marriage to Lyle Bernard Erington on May 22, 1954 in Douglas, Wyoming. There were four children born to this union, Evelyn, David, Douglas and John. After Lyle’s passing, she was married to Herman Meyer in November of 2002 until his passing in June of 2005. She worked as a teacher’s aid and as a CNA. She loved singing, playing cards, crocheting and bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Willie Belle Fowlkes, her husband Lyle Erington, her husband Herman Meyer, her brothers Viron, Billie, Herbert and an infant brother Fowlkes; a sister Evelyn Ann Fowlkes and an infant daughter, Yolanda. She is survived by: brother: Tim (Tammy) Fowlkes; sisters: Linda Ockenga, Doris DeOllos and Ginger (Gary) Weise; her children: Evelyn (Brad) Jenkins, David (Linda) Erington, Douglas Erington and John (Beverly) Erington; grandchildren: Dustin (Rachel) Jenkins, Courtney (Nicole) Jenkins, Shawn (Doreen) Heuck, Stephanie (Casey) Wiedel, Michelle Sedlacek, Melissa (Dustin) Mark, Anthony (Heather) Erington, Dallas (Dakota) Adams, Dakota Erington, Jewel Simonton, Colby Smith; Jeff (Karla) Kokes, Brian (Trish) Kokes; great grandchildren: Jordan Wiedel/Ward, Luke and Brock Wiedel; Megan, Morgan and Hunter Sedlacek; Makenzie Mark; Bud, Hannah, Skylar and Brittany Jenkins; Sebastian, Gabriel, Thaddeus, Kaden and Amber Erington; Cayla and Courtney Kaiser, April (Bobby) Thornton; Cameron, Maddie and Blake Kokes and Mallory (Dalton) Carters; great-great grandchildren: Kaylan Ward, Braxton and Raegan Thornton and Kada Kaiser and many other nieces and nephews. Services will be at Hebron Bible Church on Saturday, September 7th at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Jeff Friesen officiating. Memorials can be made to Hebron Bible Church
