Mary Odelle LaBauve Hurr, 102, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at her residence. Mary was born June 24, 1917 in Houston, to parents; William H. and Odelle Breeding LaBauve, and has resided in Baytown throughout most of her lifetime. She was a graduate of Crosby High School, received her associate degree from Lee College, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hurr was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Aubrey Raymond Hurr, son: Reginald Clark Hurr, and sisters: Mildred E. Chatham and Nina Martin Batson. She is survived by her daughter: Anna Hurr Hooper, grandsons: Paul R. Hooper, Raymond Nolan Hooper and wife Cindy, Mathew David Hurr and wife Carolyn, and James Hurr, great-grandchildren: Macey Hooper Lansford and husband Mason, Miranda Odelle Hooper, and Taylor Charleigh Hurr, great great-grandson: Max Raymond Lansford, nephews: Jason Lloyd and wife Veronica and Joshua Lloyd, numerous other relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel and conclude thereafter.
