Bio
Walter Edwin Kreidel, age 87, of Franklin, TN passed away August 21, 2019. Walter and his wife Mary Nelle Kreidel served as missionaries in Brazil for over 30 years. There, they planted churches, teaching and investing in the lives of men and women who are still carrying on the work of evangelizing to this day! After he retired, they made their home in Franklin, TN to be closer to their children, where they have lived for the past 14 years, continuing to serve and invest in the lives of others. Walter leaves a legacy that is personal yet far reaching. He had an infectious love for others and passion for making disciples. His ever present smile and joyful laugh will be missed. Though Walter passed from this earthly home, he has gained his reward in heaven. Preceded in death by parents; Emory and Oda Kreidel; son, Walter Keith Kreidel, and brother; Lee Aaron Kreidel. Survived by; loving wife, Mary Nelle (Bownds) Kreidel, son, Christopher Clark (Cindy) Kreidel, daughters; Angela Kay (Marty) West, Karen Nelle (Tom) Clark; sisters, Vicki Russell, Annette (Jimmy) Davison and LaVerne (Joe) Roberts; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and many other loving family members . A Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00PM Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Harpeth Hills Church of Christ – Brentwood. WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME
