Helen D. Graves Brinson, 89, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Oxford Health & Rehab in Oxford, MS. A private family funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home at 11:00 with Rev. Eddie Rester officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Born in Malvern, AR to the late Pearl Graves, Mrs. Brinson was an active member of Oxford-University United Methodist Church where she taught bible study for many years. Helen also led multiple prayer groups and was Chair of the Prayer Group for the church. Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Brinson. Mrs. Brinson is survived by her daughter, Beth Bryson (Miles) of Somerville, TN; son, John Brinson (Martha) of Eugene, OR; brother, Jim Graves of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Brinson's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Waller Funeral Home
