Barbara (Rejcek) Smith, age 46, passed away Friday morning, February 21, 1997 in Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. Survivors include her husband, Lendon Smith of New Orleans; her parents, Anton and Lois Rejcek of West; two sisters, Cathy Reddell of West and Jenny Qualls of Houston; one brother, Anthony Rejcek of West; two nieces, three nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with the Rev. Ed Karasek officiating.
