~Paul J. Elkins, age 68 went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 14, 2019. Paul was born August 5, 1951 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late James Odell Elkins and Martha Louise Criswell. He graduated in 1970 from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, TX. Paul loved this great nation so much that he enlisted in the military serving in the Air Force as a Sergeant from 1971-1977. Proudly becoming a Vietnam Veteran. Paul went on to work for Waukesha Pearce for several years before retiring from CCAD (Corpus Christi Army Depot) after 37 years of service as a Hydraulic Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dogs. His greatest joy was his family. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Paul is preceded in death by his; Father, James O. Elkins and brother, Randy R. Elkins. Paul is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patti A. Stone Elkins; mother, Martha Criswell Elkins; brother, Chuck Drake of Fort Worth, TX; daughter, Brandy D. Gros of Portland, TX; son, Eric T. Elkins of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Broc Mumme of Portland, TX. Paul also leaves behind several nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
