Cowart, age 35, of St. Charles, Missouri died Tuesday April 8, 2014. She was born January 13, 1979 in San Diego, California the daughter of Leonard and Denise Mahon Rankin. Marisa lived in St. Charles for eight months moving from South Carolina. She worked at Mount Carmel Senior Living as a house keeper which she loved doing and getting to know the residence of the center. Marisa loved to cook, listen to country music and believed in God. The most rewarding part of her life was raising her daughters Sierra and Alana. She loved doing their hair and nails. Dear mother of Sierra M. and Alana S. Rankin. Dear daughter of Leonard and Deborah Rankin of Georgia and Denise Rankin and Keith Lawson of Arkansas. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Tara and William of St. Charles, Missouri, Nicole and Michael Rue of Georgia, Amber and Darrion Patterson of Arkansas, Aubrey Nolan of Mississippi, Billy Nolan of Vermont, Russell and Katie Paine of Georgia and Chris and Alayna Paine of Georgia. She was loved and will be missed by many. Visitation will be held Monday April 14, 2014 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with service to follow at the funeral home.
