Bio
Daughter of František Mraz and Kristína Kroupa and stepdaughter of Josef Polan. Married Frank Nemec born Nemetz on September 17, 1884 at Omaha, Nebr. by Rev. W. Kocarnik. According to her burial card she died at St. Catherine's Hospital on April 29, 1938, age 71 years, and was buried May 2. '''''''''''' Evening World-Herald (Omaha, Nebr.), April 30, 1938, p. 7, col. 6 Hurt Palm Sunday, Mrs. Nemetz, 71, Dies Mrs. Marie Nemetz, 71, 1515 Olin avenue, who was injured by a fall to the sidewalk on her way to church on Palm Sunday, died at a hospital Friday night from complications resulting from the fall. Mrs. Nemetz was a charter member and second oldest member of the St. Ludmila and St. Catherine's societies and a charter member of St. Wenceslaus church. Survivors: Daughters, Mrs. Frank Kosik, Mrs. Mary Menousek, Mrs. Barbara Kosik, Helen; sons, Frank, Louis and J. E., all of Omaha. The body will be taken to the residence Sunday noon. The St. Vincent De Paul and Nocturnal Adoration societies will say the rosary Sunday, 8 p.m. Funeral services: Monday, 9:15 a.m. from residence to St. Wenceslaus church at 10. Grandchildren will be pallbearers. Burial St. Mary's cemetery. Hoffmann mortuary service.
