Bio

Mary Zarilda (Conner) Hooper was the only child of Stephen Jesse and Alice May (Marlow) Conner. She married O.C. Hooper on 25 March 1916. They had three children: Alice, Russel, and Edna. O.C. was in the US Navy and was on active duty in Florida when Mary was taken ill with the Spanish flu. She died of pneumonia a few days later at the home of her parents.
