Bio

Mary Frances Haning of Anna, Texas passed away on July 14, 2019 at the age of 81. She was born on January 23, 1938 to Clint Marion and Viola (Scott) Lewis in McKinney, Texas. Mary married Joe Wayne Haning on March 22, 1957 in McKinney, Texas. She worked for Collin County as Deputy District Clerk for twenty years. For most of her life she was everyone’s since of calmness and peace when they needed it most. She was and will always be one of the strongest women and she has gone to be with Jesus. As we grieve over one of the most precious lives to walk the earth, we rejoice even more because we know she’s with our Savior. We love you, Moomoos. Mary is survived by her daughter, Michele Haning and Anna Proffer of Van Alstyne, Texas; sons, Philip Haning and wife, Mary of Denison, Texas and David Haning of Gunter, Texas; grandchildren, Terra Barton, Tracy Gonzales, Tori Burge, Katilyn Haning, Maddie Haning, Lindsey Haning, Amanda Lale, and Andrew Williams; great grandchildren, Jude Gonzales, Colbi Barton, Ezra Barton, Zoe Barton, and Micah Burge; and numerous other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wayne Haning; parents, Clint and Viola Lewis; daughter, Laurie Haning; sister, Doris Dial; and great grandson, Garrett Wayne Haning. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
