Bio

Son of Simon and Kerenhappuch( Brayfield) Houser. Rev. David Howsare late 1860's (Provided by Earl. Howsare, grandson of David) David Howsare Sr., 1796-1877. He was born in Chaneysville, Pa a son of Simon and Kerrenhappuch (Brayfield) Howsare. He lived his life in the near area of Chaneysville. He was married to. Maryann Buxton and they raised seven children. David Sr was a farmer, school teacher, ordained minister and a county commissioner(1867-(1870) in Bedford County. He was the leader of the group that built the Mt. Zion Christian church near Chaneysville, Pa. Location: by Moorehouse, Bedford, Pa
