Frances Lee Quibodeaux, 74, of Lake Jackson passed away Friday, May 29, 2009, in a Houston hospital. Memorial services are set for 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at St. John Lutheran Church in Angleton with the Rev. Preston Weatherly officiating. The family will receive friends before the service starting at 10:00 a.m. Frances was born July 25, 1934, in Crowley, Louisiana to William Clyde and Mary Touchette Quibodeaux. An area resident since 1946, Frances was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church and was a current member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lake Jackson, and had retired from TDCJ as a Registered Nurse. Survivors include her children, Sheila Walters and husband, Patrick, of Angleton, Steven W. Dvorak and wife, Anne, of Weatherford and Cecelia Ann Dvorak; her children's father, Albert Dvorak; brothers, James Clyde Quibodeaux and Gerald Patrick Quibodeaux; sister, Wilma Lou Vanya; four grandchildren, Charles D. Seidler, Stacie Seidler Mitchamore, Megan A. Dvorak and Joseph W. Dvorak; three great-grandchildren. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to the Brazoria County SPCA, Brazoria County Library or St. John Lutheran Church Building Fund. The Brazosport Facts, May 31, 2009
