ANNIE MYRL BUCKNER Funeral services for Annie Myrl Buckner, 89, of Blackwell will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Blackwell First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Casey officiating. Burial will be in Blackwell Cemetery, under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. Mrs. Buckner died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater. She was born Feb. 20, 1918 in Nolan County. She married James Benjamin Buckner Nov. 2, 1933 in Dora. She was a homemaker and was a member of Blackwell First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Christine Buckner of Blackwell; five grandchildren, Jim Bob Watts, Jerry Watts, Lisa Washington, Katrina Buckner and Philip Buckner; seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Buckner, on Oct. 10, 2000; by one daughter, Vonnie Josephine Watts, in 1978; and by one son, Arthur Wayne Buckner, in 2000. Pallbearers will be Jim Bob Watts, Jerry Watts, Jim Watts, Jacob Watts, Philip Buckner and W.O. Miller. From THE SWEETWATER (TX) REPORTER (6/26/2007) ****************
