Husband of Adela Doubrava Perry; he was a retired locomotive engineer for Missouri Pacific Lines, who retired in 1937 after 47 years with the railroad. He was a member of Twenty-eighth Street Methodist Church, Magnolia Masonic Lodge 60, the Arkansas Consistory and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
