Memorial services for Jerry Lee “Stormy” Hudgeons, 57, of Brazoria, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2005, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel in West Columbia, Texas, with Blaine Hollub officiating. He was born Tuesday, January 28, 1947, in Richmond, Texas, and died Monday, January 10, 2005, in Brazoria, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Columbia. Stormy enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a very talented craftsman and avid outdoorsman. Stormy was a devoted father and grandfather and will be missed by many. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kurt Lee and Jeni Hudgeons of Manchaca; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Pat Hudgeons of Brazoria, Jolly and Gloria Hudgeons of Brazoria and Michael Hudgeons of Brazoria; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra Winkleman of Needville, Dorothy and Joe Hunter of New Waverly and Laura and John Middlebrook of Huntsville; and granddaughter, Jessica Hudgeons of Manchaca. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Sophie Hudgeons; brothers, Donald Hudgeons and Lester Hudgeons; and sister, Joyce Hudgeons.
