Lillie Janie Krieg passed away June 29, 2019, she was born Dec. 26, 1928, to Rudolf and Marie Simcik. She married the love of her life Edwin W. Krieg on Feb. 16, 1947. Lillie enjoyed living her country life, growing flowers, gardening, sewing, quilting and embroidery. She also enjoyed cooking fried chicken and homemade pecan pie. Lillie's grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joys of her life. She was known to all as "Mo-Mo." She always remembered everyone's birthday, anniversaries and always had a gift for them. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Krieg; son, Edwin Krieg Jr.; and sister Annie Schernik. She is survived by her sister Marie Crabb; daughters Carolyn Stacha (Clifton) of Taylor and Dianna Wesley (Roderick) of Pflugerville; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Krieg of Pflugerville; grandchildren, Kimberly Zycha, Darrell Faykus, Anthony Krieg, Briane Horn, Alessa Harding, Jamie Nauert and Precilla Adams; and numerous great grandchildren. Pallbearers Darrell Faykus, Anthony Krieg, Xavier Horn, David Kuhl, Kermit Schernik. Honorary pallbearers are Clifton Stacha, Roderick Wesley, Robert Crabb Jr., Alvin Faykus and Ralph Faykus. A special thanks to the staff of Pflugerville Nursing and Rehab, and Acension Seton Hospital. Memorials to be given to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
