Bio
Rosemarie S. Koch, age 61, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1984, formerly of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away on Monday, August 10, 2009 at her home after a valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis, arthritis and diabetes. She had been a technical writer with Department of Defense contractors. Rosemarie Sejnoha was born on March 17, 1948 in Wolsey, South Dakota to the late Richard and Alma Mary (Miles) Sejnoha. She was a graduate of Wolsey High school and Regis College. She married Gerald C. "Jerry" Koch on December 18, 1966 in Wolsey. Mrs. Koch had been employed by Ford Aerospace and Lockheed Martin Corporation. She was a former deacon and elder at Faith Presbyterian Church and had previously been a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sioux Falls. Rosemarie was instrumental in fostering the Interfaith Hospitality Network at Faith Presbyterian and enjoyed church activities, fishing and camping. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry; her son: Daryn (wife, Jenny) Koch of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren: Amanda, Dariyon and Cody; and her step-grandchildren: Racheal and Robert. A Service of Remembrance was held on Saturday, August 15, at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Private entombment will follow at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven. Memorials may be made to the Interfaith Hospitality Network, 519 N.
