Joe Ozell Williams Joe Ozell Williams, 73, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the First Baptist Church with burial following in the Garden Of Memories. Dr. Harvey Tingle will be Officiating. The family will receive friends at McCoy Funeral Home, Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Joe was born on August 30, 1933 in Star Community, Mills County, TX. He married Benetta Couch on September 15, 1952 in Abilene, TX. Joe was a member of the First Baptist Church. Joe was a partner in Bennett and Baucum realtors and Insurance Co. in Sweetwater 22 years before semi-retiring in 1990. He continued to work as a realtor until his death. He lived in Sweetwater since 1968 coming from Abilene. He enjoyed Golf, fishing, hunting, and was a very good baseball player. Joe is survived by his wife Benetta of Sweetwater, 2 daughters; Cheryl Mayberry and husband Jerry of San Angelo, Sandra Lewis and husband Rick of Alpine, son; Joe E. Williams and wife Maryann of College Station, brother; Jerry Williams and wife Louise of Leander, TX, 2 sisters; Velda Blackburn and husband Charles of Goldthwaite, TX, Juan Jones and husband Richard of Bayton, 3 great grandchildren.
