Bio

Woodgerd. Zadok Woogerd was born in Meggs county, Ohio, July 5, 1850. His parents moved from Ohio to Missouri when he was a child and there he grew to manhood. He was married to Miss Maria Toops, December 24,, ,1876. They came to Boone county, Neb., in the spring of 1877, where he had taken up a homestead and there they lived for thirty-two years. Unto them were born three daughters, Mrs. Kenny, Maude and one died in infancy. A little over two years ago he sold his homestead and moved to Holy county on a ranch where he died October 20, 1909. Besides his wife and two daughters he leaves a brother and two sisters to mourn the loss of a loving husband, father and brother. He professed his faith in Jesus Christ in 1889 and lived and died in the faith of the Lord. The funeral was from his home, Friday, the22d, conducted by D. J.
