Verona Signe Anderson was born in 1921 to Sigord Carl John Anderson and Francis Albertina Anderson (nee Johnson) in Oakland, Nebraska. She had two brothers: Ambrose and Sanford. Verona married Kenneth Eldon Olson on October 2, 1945, in her hometown. They had two children together.
